The main attraction of the Fall Harvest Festival features old fashioned farm fun, when Farmer John and Farmer Eric host the Pigtucky Derby Pig Races!
We have activities for all ages including a 2-acres Pick-your-own Pumpkin Patch, Hayrides, Hay Maze, Two Acre Corn Maze, Farm Animal Display, Obstacle Course, Two 40 Foot Hay Slides and much more! Swines, Steins and a Race to the Finish Line kicks off the month long festival on September 24 & 25.
The festival will feature Oregon Craft Brews and the Harvest Races competition. There are two days of races. Saturday winners can determine a non-profit of their choice and Sunday winners can determine a school or school group of their choice to give their winnings.
The fastest team to complete the Harvest Games each day will receives $1000 to donate to their non-profit or school of choice. There are additional prizes for being amazing participants including prizes of $150 for Best Costumes (donated to non-profit/school of choice) and $250 for Best Team Fans (donated to non-profit/school of choice) that will be rewarded each day. Obviously teams are encouraged to come in costumes and bring all their fans!
This adventuresome course starts with racing up a 40’ hay pyramid then sliding down a 40’ hay slide that has launched many a farmer into the air. Then on to an obstacle course that only farmers know how to do up right. Finish off the race by showing what you are made of with a hay bale toss.
The relay teams are to be made up of two women and two men (21 years of age or older). Participation is $25 per team and participants receive free admission to Swines, Steins & a Race to the Finish Line.
