The crisp fall air signals it is time for a little Farm Family Fun at French Prairie Gardens and Family Farm's Fall Harvest Festival!
During this 5 week event, people travel from all over to enjoy a day out in the country and have the opportunity to enjoy one of the main attractions - Pigtucky Derby! Hosted by Farmer John and Farmer Eric, they'll have you kicking back and laughing and as their dough-nut trained pigs race around the track.
Then on October 27th & 28th we will be hosting Military Appreciation Weekend. As a way to thank our servicemen and service women this weekend we'll welcoming a special group No Soldier Left Behind! We will also be awarding local veteran families with Free Pumpkins for their service.
No Soldier Left Behind is a great non-profit organization helping Veterans find access to services and raise awareness about PTSD. For more information on their cause, visit http://www.no-soldier-left-behind.org/. We will be giving away pumpkins to veteran families this weekend through No Soldier Left Behind.
